How to get new parts in Crossout 0.11.40
Hello there, survivors!
Earlier we told you about those who will soon arrive in the Wasteland: the firestarter Surtr, the scientist Tachyon and the Steppenwolf Sigurd. Together with them, new parts will appear in the update 0.11.40. Today we will tell you about the mechanics of obtaining them, as well as announce the order for the emergence of new content.
Attention! The features described below relate only to the parts received during the special event.
With the release of the update, a special in-game event will begin, which will be available to all players.We plan that it will have at least 75 levels (the exact amount may change).Reaching each level will take you one step closer to getting all new items. Thus, all players without exception will be able to unlock:
- structural parts;
- faction parts recipes (they can include weapons or cabins);
- a new logo that displays your current level in the event.
Also in the update 0.11.40 in Crossout, the Battle Pass mechanics will appear again. We'd like to remind you of the difference between playing with and without it. For survivors who purchase the pass, the new faction will provide not only all of the above but also:
- ready-made parts;
- cosmetic items: CK, decor, paints, stickers, backgrounds and logos for the banner;
- portraits;
- in-game coins.
An important point to note: the event will be available for a limited time. This means that when it is finished, you will only have the recipes for the parts that you managed to get.
How long will the special event last?
About three months.
Moving through the event levels, you will unlock:
- first all parts from Surtr;
- then all parts from Tachyon;
- then all parts from Sigurd.
How do I upgrade the special event levels?
You need to complete special season challenges. The challenges will be both daily and weekly. If you can’t enter the game and have remaining weekly challenges, they will be saved and transferred to the next week. By returning to the game and finishing them at an accelerated pace, you can catch up on some of the missing levels. Daily challenges will be updated every day. Please note that they are not carried over to the following days if you missed them.
What if you didn't have time to get all the recipes?
Do not despair. You can purchase parts from other players on the market, and access to recipes for their crafting may appear again, but much later. After some time, all players who did not have time to take part in the event will also have the opportunity to unlock the new structural parts.
