Clean island

Before turning into the next frontier of the eternal faction war, this place looked like a paradise. A place of tranquility and greenery among the godforsaken wasteland. The fish splashed in the crystal clear water of a small lake. Agricultural crops were growing in spacious greenhouses.

It all began when the scientists, led by Riley, decided to restore an abandoned water treatment plant near the lake for their own needs. They managed to renovate the existing water purification complex and increased the throughput of the filters. Water was piped through the system and made drinkable. For the first time in a long while, the researchers ate fresh vegetables and drank clean water.

But good fortune did not last long. Rumors of a water source and technological miracle, created by the Dawn’s children spread throughout the valley. This quickly caught Lloyd’s attention. A calculating scientist tracked down Dawn's children base and developed an insidious plan.

First, he revealed the location of the plant itself to the entire Valley. A source of clean water with fertile land that provides food has become a tempting bait for raider gangs around the area. Hordes of cars moved towards the lake. Scientists have used all the forces to defend their territory. Using the turmoil, Lloyd stole the newly designed filters and as a result locked the working station network, because of which it dumped all the toxic waste back into the water.

At once, the area around the island turned into an acid lake, and the system, developed by scientists, disappeared in dead waters. The first prototype of the filter at the plant itself continued to function. Despite the increased acidity, the water purification complex remains a tempting target for all factions.
