Wasteland artisans. Part 2

Hello!
Today, we continue to share the creations by Wasteland artisans with you. The previous part can be found here.
This time, we’re talking with Oxy (high_on_oxy) and K1LLD0Z3R 04!
K1LLD0Z3R 04
Q: Who are you, and what pulled you into making Crossout models/prints?
A: My Addiction for Crossout and the need for a miniature XO diorama in my life.
Q: Favourite cabin/weapon/module to build and why?
A: Metasurfer… whatever delivers pain and destruction. All-time fav is “Porcupine”!

Q: Which faction aesthetic do you like the most?
A: Steppenwolfs.
Q: What scale do you prefer (and why that scale)?
A: 1 block = 3.33mm. Designed them in 1 block = 1cm and printed in 1:3. The smaller, the better. Love minis!

Q: Describe your workflow in one line.
A: Photos, Blender, Fusion 360, printer, clean up model, paint, assemble.
Q: How do you go from in-game reference to a model (screenshots, measurements, block-out)?
A: Photos with block counter references and photos from 360° in a few deg steps.

Q: What software do you use? Any must-have plugins?
A: Blender, Fusion 360 for verification of the mesh and scale.
Q: Typical time/cost for a mid-size piece.
A: 6-8h work for a gun.
Q: Where can people see your models/builds?
A: Reddit. Won the prize last year for best user XO model.
Q: Advice for someone modelling/printing their first Crossout part this weekend.
A: Never give up! The road is worth it!
Q: What’s next on your bench?
A: A bigger walker build.

P.S. K1LLD0Z3R 04 spent 1.5 years creating this diorama!

Q: Who are you, and what pulled you into making Crossout models/prints?
A: Modelling started with a school project, I had chosen Crossout at that time because the grid system is convenient for making models that you can actually put together. A while ago, I worked on it with Xionite, but I didn't continue because I couldn't dedicate enough time to it.
Q: Favourite cabin/weapon/module to build and why?
A: Cockpit, booster, Flute ;)

Q: Which faction aesthetic do you like the most?
A: Founders.
Q: Describe your workflow in one line.
A: Oh ****, it’s 5 in the morning.

Q: How do you go from in-game reference to a model (screenshots, measurements, block-out)?
A: 2 screens in game, looking.
Q: What software do you use? Any must-have plugins?
A: SolidWorks.

Q: Where can people see your models/builds?
A: Reddit or on my Cults 3D.

That’s all for now. See you in the next part, in which we will continue to learn about the most talented artisans of the Wasteland. Create wonders of engineering and good luck in battles!
