Engineers, Steppenwolfs and Scavengers — assemble! New features of the September update. Part 1

Hello, survivors!
The “Dark Awakening” season is coming to an end. Now the Brotherhood is taking decisive measures as Aris has escaped with two Oracle modules with the help of his convoy. All he needs now is the third module to fulfil his plan.
The Engineers, Scavengers and Steppenwolfs are assembling a reconnaissance expedition made of their best fighters to chase Aris’s convoy, destroy him and return those two modules. The hunt begins, and in the first part of our devblog, we will check out the weapons the Brotherhood is going to use to take the convoy down. Let’s take a look!
We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This also applies to all visual materials.
Legendary heavy cabin

The Steppenwolfs have always known that survival depends on staying with your pack while also not being afraid to lead the way yourself. The new heavy cabin is a follow-up to “Echo”. This novelty maintains a balance between speed and tonnage, which is sufficient for both mounting some serious weapons and performing swift dashes across the dunes of the Wasteland.
The main idea behind this cabin is the ability to sense your wolfpack. Its perk determines whether there are more enemies or allies near you. If you are surrounded mainly by enemies, the cabin provides a bonus to reload speed and cooldown of your weapons — just what you need when you are standing your ground against a crowd of enemies and have to fight your way out with everything you got. If there are more allies around you, then the cabin increases your car’s maximum speed and engine power, so you can keep up with the rest of your pack. And if the odds are matched evenly in the heat of the battle, you receive all the bonuses at the same time.
The cool thing about this cabin is that it doesn’t restrict you with a single tactic: by staying close to your allies, you feel the fast-paced rush of the hunt and if you are leading the attack against the overwhelming enemy forces, you receive substantial support in damage you deal. A great reason to fight both alongside your allies and to be in the vanguard.
Epic cannon

The Scavengers never shied away from picking up valuable items from anywhere, even from the wrecks of sunken ships. Their new weapon is a real ship’s cannon that shoots cannonballs. Each cannonball has its own physical model and deals ram damage. The cannon is heavy and not very manoeuvrable; only one such cannon can be mounted on the armoured car, and it’s clearly not designed for rapid firing.
The perk gives this cannon even more character: the longer the projectile flies, the more its impulse and damage for each metre it travels. Firing at the enemy from close range is not as effective as seizing the moment and making a precise shot from a distance, getting the bonuses from the perk.
If you like the feel of a powerful, high-calibre weapon like “Avalanche”, the new Scavenger cannon can offer a similar experience: it’s heavy, it’s scary, but once the cannonball finds its target, it’s very satisfying.
New frames
The Brotherhood has prepared an impressive range of standard and lightweight frames in several different shapes: left and right 7х4 frames, left and right 5х4 corner frames, as well as nodal 7х3х1 frames.

Please note that once the Battle Pass ends, the new frames will be available at the workbench in exchange for Engineer badges.
Aris’s convoy is getting further and further away, while the brigade is only just embarking on the chase. The next devblog is just around the corner — stay tuned for updates and good luck in battles!
