Crossout: Price of risk
Hello, survivors!
In this update, you can look forward to new brawls and some familiar ones, a powerful relic generator, two events with rewards (one of which is available right now), balance changes, and a new mysterious armoured car that will arrive in the Wasteland a little later.

- Event experience points are required to unlock levels and receive rewards.
- As part of this event, you will be receiving new challenges: 1 main and 1 additional challenge.

“Steel championship” brawl returns
Attention! The mode will be available from July 16 to July 22 inclusive!
- Players can take part in the mode both as a group and individually as part of a randomly selected team. The match takes place in the “3 vs. 3” format.
- The match lasts 3 minutes. The team that scores more goals against the opponents wins.
- If a team leads the opponent by 3 goals scored, the match automatically ends with a victory for this team.
- In the case of a draw in regular time, 1 minute overtime is appointed. The team that scores a goal during overtime wins; if none of the teams scores, the match ends in a draw.
- Before the start of the game, each player can choose an armoured car and, accordingly, a role in the upcoming match:
- Defender: a fast car that allows you to temporarily disable the weapons of nearby enemies. Equipped with a shotgun that allows you to easily hit the ball.
- Forward: a classic option for the “Steel championships”. A high-speed armoured car with a harpoon and a crossbow.
- During the match, you can change your role by using self-destruction. Please note that after self-destruction, you will not be able to assist your allies for a few seconds.
- Enabling the automatic ball targeting can be turned on by pressing a separate button.
- The reward for the battles of the mode is wires.

New brawl “Rumbling”
Attention! The mode will be available from July 23 to July 29 inclusive!
- “Rumbling” is a team PvP brawl with preset armoured cars equipped with “AM-5 Avalanche” weapons.
- To win, your team must score more points than the opposing team within the allotted time. Points are awarded for destroying enemies and parts.

“Knight tournament” brawl returns

Attention! The mode will be available from July 30 to August 5 inclusive!
- “Knight tournament” is a team brawl with preset vehicles equipped with explosive spears.
- The goal is to score more points than the enemy team in the allotted time.
- The preset vehicles features:
- The spears reload upon exploding instead of being destroyed.
- The vehicles have left and right dash modules.
- Blowing up barrels guarantees the destruction of an armoured car.
- We have updated the preset blueprint since the last launch of the brawl.
- The reward for the battles of the mode is plastic.

- Familiar game mode with battles on preset armoured cars equipped with the “Dash” modules and the “Doom” minelayer.
- The mode has respawns.
- The victory is awarded to the team that scored more points in the allotted time for destroying parts and opponents. The battle ends if one of the teams scores 6000 points.
- The reward for the battles of the mode is scrap metal.
Rewards for the special challenges:
- “Compact exhaust” decor;
- “Material: Rust” paint;
- 2 “Mecha-king” stickers;
- Containers: “Military reserve” and “Humanitarian aid”;
- 100 Engineer badges.
New brawl “Walking devastation”
Attention! The mode will be available from August 13 to August 19 inclusive!
- “Walking devastation” is a PvP brawl with preset battle walkers with the “Slaughter” mode rules. In this mode, your team must outscore the opposing team before time runs out (or score 10000 points first).
- The brawl offers a fresh take on familiar battle walkers: the blueprints have been significantly modified by changing their parameters and physics, which noticeably alters the dynamics and feel of the action on the battlefield. Additionally, every blueprint has the ability to jump (using the handbrake key), regardless of the mounted legs.
- The brawl locations have also been altered: new aerial environmental objects have been added to bring more “verticality” to the gameplay.
- The reward for the battles of the mode is scrap metal.
Rewards for the special challenges:
- “Flashing beacon” decor;
- “Burnished steel” paint;
- Containers: “Military reserve” and “Humanitarian aid”;
- 2 rare stabilizers;
- 100 Engineer badges.
“Gaze into the abyss” brawl returns
Attention! The mode will be available from August 20 to August 26 inclusive!
- “Gaze into the abyss” is a battle between two teams with preset armoured cars.
- To win, your team must score points faster than the enemy team and control as many bases as possible to receive increased points for destroying enemies.
- Be careful: large millipedes roam the location, and they are equally hostile towards you and your opponents. They attack the player closest to them and cannot be destroyed.
- This time, we improved the blueprints for the players’ armoured cars and added modified weapons with unique properties to them. The behavior of the millipedes has also been improved.
- The reward for the battles of the mode is scrap metal.
Rewards for the special challenges:
- New decor “Faceless pursuer”;
- “Quagmire” paint;
- 2 “Orange corner” stickers;
- Containers: “Military reserve” and “Humanitarian aid”;
- 100 Engineer badges.
“Sea battle” brawl returns

Attention! The mode will be available from August 27 to September 2 inclusive!
- “Sea battle” is a team PvP brawl in which you can select one of three preset “ship” blueprints for battle.
- The team that scores 5000 points first or scores more points before time runs out wins.
- Since the previous launch of “Sea battle”, we have updated the preset ship blueprints.
- The mode has respawns. Each time before you respawn, you can change your ship.
- Improved the locations of respawn points: the players no longer respawn at the original enemy spawn points.
- The reward for the battles of the mode is wires.
Rewards for the special challenges:
- “Rocket balloons” decor;
- “Sky scales” paint;
- Containers: “Military reserve” and “Humanitarian aid”;
- 2 special stabilizers;
- 100 Engineer badges.

New relic heavy generator “Thanatos”
- PS: 3300.
- Energy supply: 11 pts.
- Durability: 1267 pts.
- Mass: 2574 kg.
- Maximum damage upon destruction.
- Can be produced at the Engineers faction workbench.
Balance changes
AC50 Storm
- Spread increase after firing reduced by 13%.
- Spread increase when rotating the weapon reduced by 33%.
- The effect of speed on spread reduced by 33%.
- Perk damage bonus increased from 12% to 13%.
AC72 Whirlwind
- Spread increase after firing reduced by 25%.
- Minimum and maximum values of spread radius reduced by 25%.
- Spread increase when rotating the weapon reduced by 33%.
- The effect of speed on spread reduced by 33%.
- Perk damage bonus increased from 30% to 35%.
AC80 Stillwind
- Spread increase after firing reduced by 25%.
- Minimum and maximum values of spread radius reduced by 25%.
- Spread increase when rotating the weapon reduced by 33%.
Comment: low efficiency of this line of autocannons. The changes will make the use of the weapon more comfortable at long range.
Summator
Damage reduced by 8%.
Argument
Damage reduced by 12%.
Comment: very high efficiency in battles at low PS.
Corvo
- Durability increased from 180 to 207 pts.
- Mass increased from 200 to 230 kg.
- Damage increased by 10%.
Comment: low survivability and efficiency of the weapon in battles.
R-37-39 Adapter
- Number of projectiles in a burst increased from 3 to 6.
- Damage reduced by 26%.
- Perk damage bonus increased from 60% to 200%.
Comment: an unpopular weapon. The changes make the perk harder to use but also increase its total damage per minute.
Barrier IX
- Protective field durability and active time increased by 50%.
- The durability and active time of other mounted “Barrier IX” parts now reduce by 30% while the protective field is charging. The effect stacks.
Comment: the turret has low efficiency when used as a supplement to the main weapon but excessive efficiency when the vehicle is equipped exclusively with “Barriers”. The changes are intended to increase the utility of the turret as a secondary weapon and to moderately reduce the efficiency of builds relying solely on “Barriers”.
Bigram
Maximum perk bonus increased from 40% to 60%.
Comment: the change reinforces the adjustments made earlier and is intended to increase the variety of builds. This will allow “Bigrams” to be used in combinations that were previously not viable.
Wayfarer
- Now, after activating the turn, the armoured car gains a 120% power bonus for 2 sec.
- The efficiency of the turn reduced in builds with tracks.
Comment: high efficiency of the movement part when combined with certain tracks. Increased power after activating the turn will help regain lost speed.
Titan and Titan ST
- Durability increased from 810 to 1134.
- Mass increased from 430 to 602 kg.
- Tonnage increased from 1950 to 2200 kg for the ST wheel and from 2900 to 3300 kg for the regular wheel.
- Added a maximum speed limit of 80 km/h.
- The tread no longer takes increased damage.
- Armoured car wrecks detection radius for the perk increased from 30 to 60 m.
Comment: an unpopular movement part. The changes are intended to make the “Titan” an excellent choice for medium vehicles with wheels. To achieve this, we have significantly increased the survivability of the movement part. The maximum speed limit will prevent the wheel from being used with ease on light vehicles.
Hyena
- Tonnage reduced from 2000 to 1700 kg.
- Penalty to cabin power increased from 15% to 20%.
Comment: the changes are intended to reduce the overall efficiency of the movement part while preserving its core concept: a heavy but fast track that sacrifices tonnage for speed.
Myriad
Mass increased from 520 to 624 kg.
Comment: the legs are too efficient. The change is intended to reduce the number of “Myriads” in various builds, which will lower the overall survivability of armoured vehicles equipped with them.
M-39 Imp
- Durability reduced from 335 to 301 pts.
- Mass reduced from 280 to 252 kg.
Comment: the machine gun has above-average survivability in battles in comparison with similar weapons.
Extremum
- The time the shotgun takes to move in and out of the box increased by 50%.
- Perk charging time increased from 5 to 7 sec.
Comment: the weapon is too efficient. The changes extend the time window for dealing damage to it.
Hippogriff
Added invisible enemies detection radius of up to 160 m. Now, when the perk is activated, invisible enemies within the detection radius are also highlighted.
Comment: an unpopular cabin. The additional mechanics emphasize the cabin’s core concept while expanding its capabilities.
Scorpion
Damage loss rate when penetrating parts reduced by 7%.
Comment: low efficiency of the weapon.
Destroyer
- Damage reduced by 15%.
- Perk damage bonus increased from 50% to 75%.
- Changed the physical model.
Comment: the changes are intended to increase the efficiency of playing around the perk while at the same time reducing the efficiency of vehicles that rely on continuous fire at close range. The changes to the physical model will prevent the weapon from being heavily protected.
