Planned balance changes in the upcoming update

Hello, survivors!

On July 16, there will be a new update for Crossout that will introduce a number of balance changes. We invite everyone to try them out on a dedicated test server and share your feedback based on your experience. In the meantime, here is the list of changes.

We remind you that all the new features described in this news are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. You can see all the planned changes in more detail on the special testing server.

AC50 Storm

  • Spread increase after firing reduced by 13%.
  • Spread increase when rotating the weapon reduced by 33%.
  • The effect of speed on spread reduced by 33%.
  • Perk damage bonus increased from 12% to 13%.

AC72 Whirlwind

  • Spread increase after firing reduced by 25%.
  • Minimum and maximum values of spread radius reduced by 25%.
  • Spread increase when rotating the weapon reduced by 33%.
  • The effect of speed on spread reduced by 33%.
  • Perk damage bonus increased from 30% to 35%.

AC80 Stillwind

  • Spread increase after firing reduced by 25%.
  • Minimum and maximum values of spread radius reduced by 25%.
  • Spread increase when rotating the weapon reduced by 33%.

Comment: low efficiency of this line of autocannons.

Summator

Damage reduced by 8%.

Argument

Damage reduced by 12%.

Comment: very high efficiency in battles at low PS.

Corvo

  • Durability increased from 180 to 207 pts.
  • Mass increased from 200 to 230 kg.
  • Damage increased by 10%.

Comment: low survivability and efficiency of the weapon in battles.

R-37-39 Adapter

  • Number of projectiles in a burst increased from 3 to 6.
  • Damage reduced by 26%.
  • Perk damage bonus increased from 60% to 200%.

Comment: an unpopular weapon. The changes make the perk harder to use but also increase its total damage per minute.

Barrier IX

  • Durability increased by 17,5%.
  • The durability and active time of other mounted “Barrier IX” parts now reduce by 40% while the protective field is charging. The effect stacks.

Comment: the changes are intended to reduce efficiency when playing with multiple “Barriers”, but at the same time improve a single turret.

Bigram

Maximum perk bonus increased from 40% to 60%.

Comment: previous changes to the movement part did not have a significant enough impact on its efficiency.

Wayfarer

  • Now, after activating the turn, the armoured car gains a 120% power bonus for 2 sec.
  • The efficiency of the turn reduced in builds with tracks.

Comment: the wheels have low efficiency unless combined with other movement parts. Increased power after activating the turn will help regain lost speed.

Titan and Titan ST

  • Added a maximum speed limit of 65 km/h.
  • The wheel tread no longer takes increased damage.
  • The perk now takes into account vehicle wreckages located within a radius of up to 60 m from the armoured car (instead of 30 m previously).

Comment: an unpopular movement part. The changes improve its survivability but limit its efficiency when used with fast armoured cars.

Hyena

  • Tonnage reduced from 2000 to 1700 kg.
  • Penalty to cabin power increased from 15 to 24%.

Comment: the movement part is very versatile and is too efficient.

Myriad

Mass increased from 520 to 624 kg.

Comment: the legs are too efficient.

M-39 Imp

  • Durability reduced from 335 to 301 pts.
  • Mass reduced from 280 to 252 kg.

Comment: the machine gun has above-average survivability in battles in comparison with similar weapons.

Extremum

  • The time the shotgun takes to move in and out of the box increased by 50%.
  • Perk charging time increased from 5 to 7 sec.

Comment: the weapon is too efficient. The changes extend the time window for dealing damage to it.

Hippogriff

Added invisible enemies detection radius of up to 160 m. Now, when the perk is activated, invisible enemies within the detection radius are also highlighted.

Comment: an unpopular cabin. The additional mechanics emphasize the cabin’s core concept while expanding its capabilities.

Scorpion

Damage loss rate when penetrating parts reduced by 15%.

Comment: low efficiency of the weapon.

Destroyer

  • Damage reduced by 15%.
  • Perk damage bonus increased from 50% to 75%.

Comment: the changes are intended to increase the efficiency of playing around the perk, while at the same time reducing the efficiency of vehicles that rely on continuous fire at close range.

How to get to the test server?

If you have already participated in testing on a special server, then it will be enough to start the Launcher from the folder with the test client and wait for the update to complete.

  • Download the launcher using this link. Running this launcher will automatically start the installation of the version of the game client used for mass testing.
  • Choose a folder to install the testing game client and decide if you wish to create a desktop icon for it.
  • After the installation is complete, and all files are downloaded, run the game client using either the desktop icon or launcher.exe in the test game client folder, and then log into the game using your username and password.
  • The whole progress of your main account will be transferred to the test server (including parts in storage and levels of reputation in factions).
  • If you had not already done it before, you will need to transfer progress from your account after logging into the test server: press the “Esc” key and select “Copy account data”.
  • Please note the schedule of the test server:
    • Friday, July 10, 2026: from 13:00 to 19:00 (GMT)
    • Saturday, July 11, 2026: from 13:00 to 19:00 (GMT)
    • Sunday, July 12, 2026: from 13:00 to 19:00 (GMT)
  • Any progress you make on the test server will not be transferred to the live game servers (INCLUDING ATTEMPTS TO BUY PACKS).

The public test server is intended only for testing of the upcoming update and may not accommodate all players without exception. However, absolutely anyone can join the server, as long as there are free spots.
