New faction is coming! Features of the major June update. Part 1

Hello, survivors!

The “Playing with fire” season is coming to an end. The Engineers, Lunatics, and Ravagers have pushed the line and awakened the Oracle’s defence mechanism, which turned out to be a whole new faction. We will talk more about the new force coming to the Wasteland in the upcoming entries; for now, we would only like to say that it’s the most technologically advanced and powerful group the Valley has ever seen. We invite you to speculate on the new faction in the comments and see who can guess more about them judging by their parts described below.

This time we’ll tell you about the new legendary module and weapon that will turn you into stealthy, deadly, and untraceable assassins. Let’s dive in!

We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This also applies to all visual materials.

Legendary weapon

The new faction is proficient at stealth and is more than happy to launch surprise attacks at the most inopportune moments for their enemies. The new legendary weapon is perfect for those who love to play sneakily. It fires a burst of projectiles that deal melee damage and also has an alternative firing mode with horizontal spread, launching all projectiles simultaneously.

The key component of using the new weapon efficiently is skillful stealth. While the armoured car is invisible, the weapon’s damage increases every second until it reaches the maximum value. The damage bonus activates upon firing or exiting invisibility and lasts for a short time. Additionally, firing this weapon breaks invisibility with a slight delay rather than immediately, providing valuable time for further combat maneuvers.

Legendary module

The new faction has several parts with a new unique mechanic. The effect works similarly to heating or freezing: it builds up over time and resets. But unlike the thermal effects, it makes the parts penetrable. The new module with power nodes utilizes this mechanic. Whatever may it be called?

When the module is activated, all parts attached to the power nodes gain the penetrability effect for a certain amount of time. The module also applies the effect to itself. This feature will improve the survivability of the armoured car’s critical parts when assembled correctly. The module also has a passive reload speed bonus, which encourages you to move away from enemies after using it so you can reload faster and return to battle.

Structural parts of the new season

And this is only the beginning! Take a leap of faith and wait for the next blog entry, which will be here soon. Stay tuned.
