What to expect in the upcoming update. July 2025

Hello, survivors!

While you’re exploring the new Ravaging season, we’re ready to talk about the upcoming July update.

You can look forward to: new brawl set in space, with starships to pilot; the updated UI of the “Market” tab; improved search at the “Exhibition”; new Assembly Assistant function; and many more new features. Let’s take a closer look!

We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This also applies to all visual materials.

Brawls in the update

Every survivor has a spaceship in their garage, just in case. Right? Even if not, we’ll provide you with one. The new “Frontier” brawl has you piloting one of three spaceships of different classes (and one elite ship, which can be unlocked with enough points earned in battle). All you have to do is perform your best flying stunts and destroy your opponents. You’ve never seen gameplay like that in Crossout.

But the space is not the only frontier to be conquered! The “Get the scrap metal: Battle walkers!” and “Test prototypes” are two new game modes. The first provides an opportunity to take your battle walker out to a classic team PvP battle with various movement parts allowed, and the second has two teams fighting for who can score the most points for destroying enemies and parts in the allotted time.

Some of the old brawls will also make a comeback, including the “Impulsiveness”, “Rippers” and “For the Emperor!”.

“Market” tab update

The miracle economy of the Wasteland had a glow-up and acquired some of the elements most wanted by the community. Here are some of them:

  • Filters for “available parts only” and part types (for example, you can search builds with heavy, medium or light cabins only);
  • All the goods on the market are now in the same window, and you can hide or show the range building items with a corresponding filter;
  • New “Favourites” tab to add items that you wish to follow without needing to search for them each time.

A comparison of the old and new “Market” tab:

Improved search at the “Exhibition”

There are some minor, but very nice improvements, partly inspired by your feedback. You can now choose parts that you don’t want in a build, set a number of parts that you’re searching by, and also a special filter for the battle walkers.

This is how it looks like:

Assembly assistant

The new support function for your engineering projects is here. The assistant allows you to assemble a base for your future beautiful armoured car in three stages. Select a cabin, movement parts, and weapons, and let the assistant provide you with a base that you can improve on by armouring it with structural parts, adding decorations, etc. So handy!

Furthermore, there will be a number of other improvements in the update. For example, we heard that Wade was cool, but somewhat of a chatterbox, so we reduced the frequency of his lines during battles and made it so that disabling voiceover in the game’s settings shuts down his banter as well.

We also plan to fix some known bugs and release the previously announced balance changes.

In the end, let us say that there is a rumour about a new mysterious vehicle appearing in the Wasteland, with parts that no one ever saw before. It will probably surface after the release of the update in July, though nobody knows for sure.

That’s all for today. See you in future developer blog entries and other news! Good luck in battles!
