Update

Crossout: Rogue Mind

Hello, meatbags survivors! This is Wade, your friendly neighbour robot from your garage. We have a lot of stuff to talk about, from the red-eyed Ravagers and their new parts to the anniversary celebrations in the Wasteland and presents! I’ll see you in Crossout for a proper introduction in person.

New face in the Wasteland — Wade the robot!

Meet Wade! He will be your guide for all major events in the Wasteland from now on. We’ll see what his goals are, and it’ll be up to you to decide if he’s trustworthy, but the first impression is great, isn’t it?

The “Battle Pass” section now has a “Wade’s stories” tab with information about the current and past events in the world of Crossout.

“Rogue Mind” seasoN

Attention! The season and Battle pass packs will be available until August 27 inclusive! On consoles, the Battle pass packs will be available from June 5, 10:00 GMT!

New parts of the season

“Myriad” movement part

  • Rarity: epic.
  • PS: 450.
  • Movement part maximum speed: 80 km/h.
  • Tonnage: +1660 kg.
  • Cabin power: -22%.
  • 35% resistance to melee and ram damage.
  • Durability: 495 pts.
  • Mass: 520 kg.
  • Perk: legs take turns in getting disabled after losing every 40% of the part’s durability. Losing one leg decreases the tonnage of the movement part by half, losing both removes its support and tonnage completely. After getting disabled, each leg restores its durability over 7 sec., and then becomes functional again.

“Triton” frontal shotgun

  • Fires a shot of 4 shotgun pellets with a large spread. Has limited firing angles. Deals additional damage on collision.
  • Rarity: legendary.
  • PS: 1200
  • 90% resistance to ram damage.
  • 60% resistance to melee damage.
  • Lets 30% damage through.
  • Penetration ability: 65%.
  • Bonus to ram damage: +125%.
  • Ammunition: 180 pcs.
  • Durability: 323 pts.
  • Energy drain: 6 pts.
  • Mass: 227 kg.
  • Perk: accumulates a charge when dealing damage. When fully charged, the collision of the shotgun's barrel tips with an enemy causes an explosion that does not damage the owner of the “Triton”. After the explosion, the charge doesn’t accumulate for 6 sec.

“Nox” light cabiN

  • Rarity: legendary.
  • PS: 2400.
  • Cabin maximum speed: 108 km/h.
  • Tonnage: 4450 kg.
  • Mass limit: 8500 kg.
  • Energy supply: 25 pts.
  • Durability: 285 pts.
  • Mass: 500 kg.
  • Perk: passively increases the penetration ability of weapons by 25%. When hitting targets from a distance greater than 35 m, the damage dealt accumulates charge; the longer the distance, the faster the charge accumulates. The maximum effect is achieved when attacking from a distance of 200 m or greater. The higher the rarity of the weapons, the more damage it takes to fully accumulate the charge. At full charge, activating the perk additionally increases penetration ability by 40% for 10 sec. This bonus is added to the passive one. When using the “Scorpion” weapon, the cabin passively decreases the rate at which the projectile loses damage by 25%, and by another 40% upon activation.

It is important to note that penetration ability can be greater than 100%. Suppose that the damage from a projectile hit is 100 and the penetration ability is 200%. This means that the total damage to several parts in the path of the projectile can be 200, but no more than 100 to a single part.

Example 1:

There are 3 parts with a durability of 80 pts. in the projectile’s path. The projectile deals 80 damage to the first part and destroys it. The remaining damage in this case is 120, but no more than 100 to one part. The projectile continues flying, deals 80 damage to the second part and destroys it. The remaining damage is 40. The third part receives 40 damage, the projectile does not destroy it and self-destructs. The total damage dealt is 200.

Example 2:

There are 2 parts in the projectile’s path. The durability of the first part is 120 pts. The projectile deals 100 damage to it, does not destroy it and self-destructs. The total damage dealt is 100.

Example 3:

There are 2 parts in the projectile’s path. The durability of the first part is 80 pts., and the second part has 150 pts. of durability. The projectile deals 80 damage to the first part and destroys it. The remaining damage in this case is 120, but no more than 100 per part. The projectile continues flying, deals 100 damage to the second part, does not destroy it and self-destructs. The total damage dealt is 180.

Thus, the cabin is most effective with weapons with high damage per hit for shooting at parts with durability lower than this damage value.

“Charon” pulse accelerator

  • Fires fast projectiles that fly on a straight trajectory.
  • Rarity: legendary.
  • PS: 2400.
  • Ammunition: 16 pcs.
  • Penetration ability: 80%.
  • Durability: 430 pts.
  • Energy drain: 12 pts.
  • Mass: 720 kg.
  • Perk: after 2 hits on enemies in a row at a distance greater than 80 m, fires a special projectile that attaches to the armoured car and periodically damages all nearby enemy cabins in the radius of 40 m. The damage is not applied if the durability of the cabin is lower than 25%. After that, enemy radars within the active radius stop displaying enemies and allies for 5 sec.

“Jupiter” energy weapon

  • Fires 2 projectiles of overheated plasma that fly on a spiral trajectory.
  • Rarity: legendary.
  • PS: 2400.
  • Ammunition: 16 pcs.
  • Penetration ability: 50%.
  • Durability: 465 pts.
  • Energy drain: 12 pts.
  • Mass: 533 kg.
  • Perk: if 4 projectiles fired by 2 “Jupiters” appear nearby after flying 45 m, they will merge into a lightning ball, which will deal damage within a radius of 12 m, gradually slow down and explode upon destruction. If the projectiles do not merge, then after their destruction, the reload time of the next shot will be reduced by 30%.

“Pandora” ammunition

  • Increases the initial weapon ammunition by 90%. Explodes when destroyed.
  • Rarity: legendary.
  • PS: 296.
  • Durability: 188 pts.
  • Mass: 201 kg.
  • Perk: if there is a wreck in the radius of 30 m from the module, “Pandora” accumulates charges, each of which instantly restores 33% ammunition received from this module to the mounted weapons. The loss of “Pandora” temporarily disables all weapons.

New brawl “Evolution”

Attention! The brawl will be available from June 5 to June 18 inclusive!

  • “Evolution” is a brawl in which the player faces both other players and AI opponents.
  • The battles have pre-set vehicles.
  • The vehicles have no weapons: the only way to destroy an opponent is to hit them with your vehicle.
  • Hitting opponents that are smaller than you increases the size of your vehicle. Once you reach a certain size, the appearance of your vehicle also changes. Hitting opponents that are larger than you destroys your vehicle and resets its size to its original size after respawn.
  • The goal is to earn the most points before time runs out. The larger your vehicle, the more different enemies you can “devour” and, accordingly, the faster you earn points.
  • Please note: there are AI enemies on the map that you cannot destroy even with the largest vehicle available. If you see such an enemy, get away.
  • A festive cake will periodically appear on the location. The player who activates the cake first will receive an instant large increase in size and points earned.
  • The reward for battles of the mode is plastic.
