Lunatics
The Lunatics rely on their superior numbers and try to smash their opponents in melee combat. Their arsenal includes all manner of melee weapons, from spears to harvesters. This faction prefers to ambush survivors who stray from their comrades.
Mad raiders. Hounds of chaos. After the cataclysm, the human nature itself began to change and for many it was the strongest psychological blow that they could not stand. Having thrown off the shackles of civilization, finding shelter in the animal part of their old nature, where the strong devour the weak, where the loners are led into flocks under command of the leaders, they rejected the concept of morality, fully submitting to the instincts of survival and reproduction.
They love everything that rumbles, explodes and quickly accelerates. They move around on buggies, built from lightweight parts, craft shrapnel shotguns from old grenade launchers, rocket launchers, explosive spears.
It is curious that the traces of a global change are the least apparent among the Lunatics. Even the discoloration of the eyes is manifested in a rather weak form. Their leaders, those who fully gave in to their animal nature, always have a regular human eye color. It is a pity that there's no one who could conduct a full scientific investigation of this issue...
Psycho Pete
Warlord
In the old world he was a small gangster, cruel and completely fearless, but too unpredictable to reach any heights in the strict hierarchy of the clan.
After the disaster he spent many years enjoying complete freedom and impunity, sparing neither strangers nor his own. Somehow he became the leader of a small gang of scumbags, which followed him everywhere. After all, he was always at the forefront, but invariably returned alive from any fight. As if he was enchanted to dodge bullets and fire. As if he was looking for death, but it always avoided him.
Like a cloud of locusts, the gang was moving across the Wasteland without a goal, crossing mountains and empty riverbeds until they met Khan's army.
