Crossout is the post-apocalyptic MMO Action game in which you can craft your unique battle vehicles from a myriad of interchangeable parts, ride them directly into combat and destroy your enemies in explosive PvP online battles in the air and on the ground.

4 years since the start of testing!

They say times change. But if you think about it, how does it work?

For example, the owner and I used to hang out in a completely different place. Though the hearth stood there in the centre, it was still somehow gloomy. And then more and more people like us came to this place. They began to work there, built armoured vehicles, joked, made plans, and then discussed them. And thanks to all of them, this place, our home, began to change. It became brighter, the tech started buzzing all around, posters climbed onto the walls, today there's a place to go test your guns. A couple of times a year, when something particularly special happens, our home transforms again. So it turns out that when times change, things around us change too?

Hm. We're gonna need another example. Here is my owner — his hands are golden, he can build anything. Factions respect him. We work for them, and as a reward, they give us parts. And year to year they improve them — shoot something off here, drill through a corner there. Beautiful, isn't it? They want to make the owner more comfortable.

At first, there weren't too many of these factions. And then the Steppenwolfs marched in line, Dawn's Children flew after them and Firestarters burst in a whirlwind later.

Look at the hovers for example. The first time they appeared when our garage was still closed, and only a few friends came by. This invention was removed back then, I did not even have time to fly. And as the gates opened, Dawn's Children appeared and brought the hovers with them. The owner has three of these in storage. When he gets the fourth, he's going on a serious job. He does not take me on such missions, too dangerous. I used to worry about him, and then he started riding with a co-driver. I'm so much calmer now.

In general, I rarely leave the garage now. The owner's reputation doesn't really allow hanging out with me. But when I do get out, I gasp every time! You may not believe me, but trust my wheels, the sky outside looks more lively, and the light more beautiful.

I remember how in the old days my owner and the others gathered together. That was a right brawl! We were celebrating going public.

The owner didn't also start building the scary Leviathans from the start too. Those are too cool, they have lots of parts and they go into battle on their own. I envy them a little.

Sometimes the owner tells me about the places that he managed to visit. He says that old places change completely, and sometimes he even finds new zones. He once covered a friend at the Nameless Tower and ended up in Sector EX sometime after midnight. Darkness, pumpkins from all sides — scary! He also went down to the Sandy Gulf, saw the shuttle start from the Broken Arrow... So many stories from the Blood Rocks! An entire adventure.

And in order to hunt for loot in raids, the owner takes a tougher car. The rules of the battle are different there now, I'm not tough enough.

Everything changes. I only just remembered what I could during our conversation. The world is in motion, and every year something changes thanks to my owner and for my owner. He met many friends, shot hundreds of clips, travelled thousands of roads. And I know what's next — it only gets better.

Here's to one more year in the Wasteland!
Yours sincerely,
armoured car
