Answers to frequently asked questions from players

Survivors! Let us share with you the digest of your questions and our answers!

Question: Do you plan to continue working on new maps for the game? Soon it's going to be a month since the release of the “Sandy Bay” map — is there any news on this?

Answer: Hello! At the moment we are working on this aspect of the game. In the upcoming update, we plan to substantially rework the “Control-17” map — this will affect both its appearance and the alignment of environment objects and the locations of the passages. You could see the test version of the updated map during the testing of explosive damage changes. And in one of the subsequent updates, we plan to present a new PvP map. In the future, we plan to alternate updating existing maps and adding new ones.

Question: Are you planning balance changes for the Typhoons and Scorpions?

Answer: Good afternoon! Yes, the work on changes for “Typhoon” has already been conducted some time ago and at the moment we would like to have a look at its perk. The changes to “Scorpions” have become particularly relevant in the light of the decor rework. So, we plan to include changes to both weapons in the upcoming update.

Question: When will measures be taken against players with legendary and relic weapons installed on a regular cabin?

Answer: Hello! We are aware of this problem and now we are working on several possible solutions for it. As soon as more information appears on this issue, we will definitely share it on all our social platforms.

Question: Changes to the mechanics of the “Mandrake” and “Incinerator” aim were not universally acclaimed — are you planning further reworks?

Answer: Hello! After the aim mechanics changed, we received quite a lot of feedback and suggestions on how to improve this game element. Right now we are planning that the next update will include a complete change to the sensitivity of the catapult and the howitzer's sight, which will be active only if the Mandrake or the Incinerator are installed on the armoured vehicle. We also want to remove the mechanic of returning the sight to the standard position after each shot.

Question: Soon it's going to be 2 years since Crossout was launched in the OBT stage — can we expect a special event in honour of this anniversary?

Answer: Good afternoon! We plan to launch a small in-game event, similar to the one that took place last year. It is too early to talk about specific rewards and details of the event, so we recommend that you wait for a detailed description of the update.

Question: Are you going to introduce new authentic decor in the near future? If you are, when? I'm also wondering if it's going to be possible for players who for some reason could not participate in these events to get the decor from the “Mayhem”? Suppose in the form of individual packages in the store.

Answer: Hello! We don’t have plans for new decor for the nearest future, but you can be sure that more decor will be added to the game. And we will try to take into account the preferences of various groups of players. In the near future, we do not plan to put the decor from the “Mayhem” on sale, because It is a unique and memorable reward that can only be obtained for participating in each individual event.

Question: What fate awaits Grenadier and Kapkan? Are you going to make “crafted counterparts” for them, as you did with the Tackler?

Answer: Hello! At the moment, we do not plan to introduce any analogues of the drone and mine-laying machine to factional workbenches. We remind you that these and other unique items can also be purchased on the market from other players.
