The legendary Knight riders are back in the Wasteland! We invite everyone to take part in this prominent event and build completely new and never-before-seen parts and items that can change the appearance of your armored car!

In-game event “Knight riders”

Attention! The event “Knight riders” will last from September 20 to October 4.

New Knechte festival “Knights of the Wasteland”!

  • The mission counts towards the progress of daily challenges.
  • For taking part in the mission, the player receives a special temporary resource: talers.
  • Talers can only be earned in this mission.
  • Talers can not be sold or purchased through the in-game market.
  • After the end of the “Knight riders” event, all unused talers will be withdrawn from the option to exchange them for any other resources.
  • Talers, as well as a certain amount of resources and parts, can be exchanged for goods from a special temporary workbench, “Martin's Tent”.

Knechte portraits

During the “Knight riders” event, you can also complete special tasks and obtain unique Knechte portraits:

  • For 10 wins in missions or raids, the player receives a portrait of “Ulrich”.
  • For 30 wins in missions or raids, the player receives a portrait of “Augustus Donner”

Attention! Portraits will be available only to those players who did not receive them earlier during the previous Knechte.

Resources

You now need to score 70 points instead of 100 to earn 1 unit of electronics in hard raids.

Weekly tasks

  • The conditions and rewards for completing a number of tasks have been changed:
  • Now you have to win 10 battles in the mission “Get the wires!” instead of 15. Reward changed from 150 to 100 badges.
  • Now you have to win 12 battles in the mission “Get the batteries!” instead of 20. Reward changed from 450 to 350 badges.
  • The reward for completing the challenge “Take the prize spot 9 times in any brawl” is increased from 150 to 175 badges.
  • The reward for completing the challenge “Win 10 battles in Invasion vs. Leviathan” is increased from 150 to 175 badges.
  • The reward for completing the challenge “Win 10 battles in hard raids with electronics as a reward” is increased from 450 to 500 badges.
  • The reward for completing the challenge “Win 10 battles in hard raids with copper as a reward” is increased from 450 to 500 badges.

Developer Comments: “After collecting the initial statistics on the new system of weekly challenges, we came to the conclusion that the average time spent on challenges in missions is significantly higher than we initially assumed. At the same time, we believe that the reward for completing challenges in hard raids, brawls and Invasion should be higher and fit the trial that the player is going through. Therefore, we're making the challenges a bit easier in missions and, accordingly, slightly reduce the number of received badges. The reward for challenges completed in hard raids, brawls and Invasion, on the contrary, is increased without any changes in the conditions of the challenges themselves. The total number of badges received for completing all weekly challenges remains unchanged.”

Raids

  • You can no longer pick up and transport cargo while invisible in raids.
    • Invisibility is automatically disabled when entering the cargo zone.
    • The invisibility module can not be activated during cargo transportation and in the cargo zone.
  • Changed the sound for new task notifications in raids.
  • Tweaked raider spawn points on maps: ‘Factory’, ‘Wrath of Khan’ and ‘Ship Graveyard’.

  • Shotgun range reduced by 20%.

Parts

  • Extended the limit for the maximum number of stickers on the armored car. Players can now attach up to 16 stickers on the armored car, all 16 can be attached to one part.
  • Added new frames:
    • Lightweight frame 2x6. You can receive 2 frames upon reaching levels 3, 7 and 13 in the “Lunatics” faction.
    • Frame 2x6. You can receive 2 frames upon reaching levels 5, 11, 21 and 26 in the “Engineers” faction.

Harpoon “Skinner”

Added the ability to punch up to 1 m of parts and attach to the last penetrated part.

“Twin wheel” and “Twin wheel ST”

Durability reduced by 10% (from 200 to 180 pts).

“Large wheel” and “Large wheel ST”

Durability reduced by 8% (from 240 to 220 pts).

“Balloon tyre” and “Balloon tyre ST”

Mass reduced by 20% (from 125 to 100 kg.)

Wheels “Lunar IV” and “Lunar IV ST”

Durability increased by 17% (from 60 to 70 pts.)

Interface

  • The menu item “Settings — Game” now has the option to change the appearance of the mini-map (radar). :
    • Radar size selection
    • Changing the scale of the displayed area of ​​the map (also possible with “hot keys”, by default: “+” and “-”).
    • Radar marker size selection.
  • Improved in-game chat
    • Added the option to disable team chat in battle.
    • Settings for opacity, font size, chat window lock and resetting settings are moved to the “Chat appearance” menu.
    • Added the option “Toggle chat” in game settings. Unchecking the box allows you to completely disable the chat window.
    • Improved the interface for resizing the chat window.
  • Players can now upload saved blueprints to the exhibition only if they have parts details for their assembly.
  • Improved the ability to flip through the list of challenges on the debriefing screen
    • When using the gamepad, the list of challenges can now be browsed with the right analog stick.
    • Increased the activation area of ​​the button for switching between challenge lists.
  • Added display of the “Aspect” machine gun's unique perk activity.
  • Players occupying prize spots in brawls (except for “Battle Royale” and “Storm Warning”) are now highlighted in the general list. 
  • Increased opacity of the armored car parameters window in “Build” mode.
  • You can no longer bring up the context menu when you select your own profile during the debriefing.
  • Now you can see the player's earned patches when browsing his profile.
  • When you exchange badges for resources in the “Workshop”, you can now see the number of purchased resources in the confirmation window.
  • Left-clicking on resources and part fragments in the warehouse opens the trading window.
  • The “Structure” tab, as well as the “base” part rarity button are now inactive in the “Market” section.
  • You can activate the in-game chat by pressing the “Enter” key while at the Exhibition.
  • The information about the overall durability of the armored car now takes into account the cabin's durability.
  • Fixed the blinking of the weapon indicator when shooting off parts.
  • Implemented cursor scaling when using high screen resolutions.
  • You can now scroll through the “News” window text with the mouse wheel.
  • The interface of the “Missions” section has been improved.

Other

  • Changed the mechanic of the “Neutrino” scope. Zooming in and out is now done with the mouse wheel. The module activation button is now only responsible for turning it on / off.
  • When the engine is destroyed, its sound is automatically replaced with the sound of the cabin's engine.
  • The destruction of an enemy armored car based on the “Werewolf” cabin is now credited to the player who destroyed the cabin itself, and not the drone.
  • Added an option that allows you to change the intensity of gamepad vibration in the game.
  • Disabled gamepad vibration when allied shells hit the player's armored car.

  • Fixed a bug with incorrect ‘Goblin’ shotgun shooting with certain crosshair alignments.
  • If you enable the display of mounting points, they are now visible both for the installed cabin and the one you're holding in your “hands” for comparison.
  • Fixed bugs with texture display, incorrect collision of environment objects and their incorrect location on a number of maps.
  • Fixed a bug where the “Neutrino‘ scope's effect was activated earlier than the scope itself.
  • The impulse from the explosion of your own explosive spears no longer affects the behaviour of the armored car.
  • Fixed a bug with the drone incorrectly appearing after the “Werewolf” cabin's explosion.
  • Fixed a bug with a challenge for 3 victories in “Battle Royale” was displayed in the list of challenges available from the 1st level of the “Engineers” faction.
  • Production of parts on the Knechte workbench is now correctly taken into account in the general statistics of the parts produced by the player.
