Crossout Update 0.7.30
Survivors! The knights come into the world of the game again. Players are going to trade with them using their own currency, the talers, and to get the unique weapons, paints wheels and décor! And there’s a new map “Wrath of Khan” in the “Defense” PvE mode!
“Knight Riders” Event
The huge game event inspired by medieval romance is coming to Crossout. A soldier’s expedition, led by a boy named Martin is passing through our land. They called themselves Knechtes. Players are going to trade with them using their own currency, the talers. Talers (300 units), scrap metal (1500 units.) and copper (50 units) can be traded for special “Steel Cavalry” container opening which may grant the unique décor, paints, wheels, deadly crossbow and 3 new types of weapons. Talers will be given for victories in PvP battles (if you set the minimum required number of points) and for completing the special daily missions during the game event. "Knight Riders" will come in the end of this week and they’re planning to stay until August the 14th. To weapons!
New weapons and details!
The new weapons and drone will later be added to the factions. We want to grant access to them for the players during the “Knight Riders” event. Try the new weapons before anyone else!
- Added new shotgun BG2 ‘Goblin’.
- Rarity: rare.
- Combines the functions of firearms and ramming weapons. Integrated pins for additional damage in a collision.
- Increased protection from contact damage.
- Added new cannon BC-17 ‘Tsunami’.
- Rarity: legendary.
- Long-range and powerful weapon.
- High precision coupled with high returns.
- A unique feature of the weapon: for every 5 seconds that a player's vehicle is not moving, the gun damage is increased by 20%. This effect stacks up to 3 times.
- Added new drone ‘Fuze’.
- Rarity: epic.
- Number of launches: 4.
- An agile drone, exploding when approaching the goal.
Knights’ weapons
- Added crossbow ‘Spike-1’
- Rarity: epic.
- Slow, but a very precise weapon.
- Impressive ammo (18 units).
When you’re limited with gunpowder and explosives, old and reliable springs, cables and fittings are used. Works as fine.
Knights’ details
- Gun-mount wheels added
The Knechtes traditionally stylize their wheels to the old cannon ones.
New decor
- Armored skull (rarity: rare)
The skull, enclosed in the armor — is indicative of Knechtes decoration.
- Bludgeon (rarity: rare)
Heavy bludgeon as a decoration of Knechtes vehicles.
- Huntsman’s horn (rarity:rare)
Produces a deep twang in the best traditions of German hunting. The sound of this horn is remembered forever by those who have met the detachment of cleats. And got away alive.
New dyes
- Material: Plate steel.
- Teutonic stripes.
- Teutonic eagle.
- Teutonic cross.
All these dyes can’t be mixed or received via mixing other dyes.
All the parts, decor elements and dyes mentioned above can be received only from ‘Steel cavalry’ container and only during the ‘Knight riders’ event.
The new game resource: Talers
Knechtes numbers are limited and they need allies. They generously award anyone who lends them a hand.
- A temporary game resource.
- Talers are required for getting the “Steel Cavalry” container.
- It will be given for victories in PvP battles (if you set the minimum required number of points) and for completing the special daily missions during the game event.
- After the event it will be withdrawn.
Maps
New map “Wrath of Khan”
It is through this gorge the Lunatics at the time, came to the valley, losing many fighters in the campaign. Later a more convenient way was built, and there were only a handful of deserters in the gorge. When the oil was discovered in the gorge, this small piece of land became the war zone again.
- The map is available in PvE mode “Defense”, in which players have to fend off the superior forces of the enemy, trying to destroy oil rigs.
Interface
Controls
- The amount of weapon groups was decreased to 5.
- We decided to reduce the amount of weapon groups to 5 in order to re-bind a number of important functions.
- Gamepad controls schemes were changed and fixed.
- The Xbox 360 gamepad control scheme is now shown in the controls setting instead of an Xbox One gamepad.
Changes in the container system
- From now on, you are able to preview the list of contents of the container you’re about to craft. To use this feature you should point your cursor over the ‘Possible contents’ line, that is located under the container’s image. Currently this feature works for all the containers, except ‘Artisan’s pack’ and ‘Paint container’.
- Containers 'DIY', 'Loot container' and 'Relic container' will be no longer available for crafting. These containers will be available for trading during a limited amount of time.
- Those containers, that are listed above and are currently on the market, will be returned to the owners for their revaluation in current circumstances.
New containers will be added:
- Container 'Found at wasteland'. Will be available to get for staying in the game for 2 hours per day. Also, from the beginning of August, it will be awarded among other gifts for daily login into the game and for victories in brawls. From this container you can receive:
- Engineer flag for 3 days with a small chance.
- A rare temporary part for 2 hours with an average chance (except wheels).
- Common part with a high chance.
- 'Getter's container'. Will be available to get for staying in the game for 14 hours a week. Also, from the beginning of August, it will be awarded among other gifts for daily login into the game. From this container you can receive:
- Epic temporary part for 2 hours with a little chance (except wheels).
- Engineer flag for 3 days with an average chance.
- Rare temporary part for 2 hours with a high chance (except wheels).
- 'Decor container' will be available to craft at the Engineer Workbench.
- Contains a decor from usual to epic rarity.
- 'Legend' container. Will be available to craft at the Engineer Workbench.
- Contains random legendary temporary part for 2 hours.
- After the update, when you open the container and receive the part, it will be possible to reject it and open the container again in turn for a certain amount of scrap. The number of attempts at the moment is 3 times. In the future it is a subject to change.
- The list of containers which you will be able to reopen is the following:
- 'Loot container'.
- 'Relic container'.
- Container 'DIY'.
- Container 'Found at wasteland'.[new]
- 'Getter's container'.[new]
- 'Decor container'.[new]
- 'Legend' container.[new]

With these changes we want to underline the role of containers as a special ability to get something unique and try it out. And the ability to open the container again will allow the players to increase the chance of getting something they really want.
Miscellaneous
Now decor and dyes are much more valuable.
- Now, after victory in missions, it is impossible to receive decor and dyes.
- Decor can be obtained only via fusion or from a 'Decor container' (excluding decor, that is crafted with fragments or is included in special packs).
- Dyes can be obtained via mixing or from a "Paint container" (excluding paints, that are crafted with fragments or are included in special packs).
With this change we want to highlight the value of various dyes and decor elements that would favorably distinguish their owners on the battlefield.
