[PC] Crossout 0.12.90. Slaughter

Take part in a new PvP team brawl with the mechanics of points accumulation from the “Crossout day” event and try out the first frontal wheel in Crossout in the “Slaughter” update!

Temporary brawl “Slaughter”

Attention! The brawl will be available from September 3, 07:00 GMT, until September 19 inclusive!

Rules and features:

  • “Slaughter” is a team PvP-brawl based on the “Team deathmatch” rules.
  • Battles are held in the “6 vs 6” format.
  • Vehicles from 5000 to 6000 PS can take part in the battle.
  • Vehicles with explosives (spears), fuel barrels,tanks and / or with a Tusk cabin cannot participate in this brawl.
  • It is impossible to enter the mode as part of a group.
  • Goal: your whole team must score 5000 points faster than the opposing team.
    • Each player accumulates points for destroying parts and armoured vehicles of opponents. The points of the players within the same team are added to the team score.
    • If the required number of points is not scored within the allotted time, the victory is awarded to the team with the bigger amount of points.
    • If the score is equal when the time is up then a draw is announced.
  • Players of the same team appear on the map in random places, but always see allies on the radar.
  • The brawl has respawns: after being destroyed, your armoured car will reappear on the battlefield after some time.
  • Battles are held on the following maps:
    • “Abandoned town”;
    • “Ravagers foothold”;
    • “Chemical plant”.
  • The self-destruction mechanic has been improved specifically for this mode: in the “Slaughter” brawl you can self-destruct only after the weapons or most of the movement parts are lost.
  • A weekly challenge to reach the winning places in brawls can be completed in “Slaughter”. The first 4 places in terms of points scored in the winning team are considered to be the “winning places”.

Special challenges

As long as the “Slaughter” brawl is active, special challenges will be available to you every day:

  • Destroy 400 parts in the “Slaughter” brawl.
  • Destroy 600 parts in the “Slaughter” brawl.

Please note:

  • The second challenge becomes available only after the first one is completed. The progress of completing the first challenge doesn’t affect the progress of completing the second.
  • If you haven’t completed the challenge in a day, then the progress of its completion is carried over to the next day.

Rewards

For completing daily challenges, you receive Engineer badges, which you can then exchange for the resources, structural parts or containers you need:

  • For completing the first challenge, you will receive 40 badges.
  • For completing the second challenge, you will receive 80 badges.

Crosscrowns

Crosscrowns is a new currency for survivors on PC and PlayStation, well established on Xbox consoles. With this currency on all platforms, we will be able to update the range of cosmetic items in the in-game store more often, including the anticipated CKs for weapons and other items.

The first offers for the cosmetic items which can be purchased with crosscrowns are already available in the in-game store in the “Customization” tab, and in the future their range will be expanded with new temporary and permanent offers for CK, decor, paints, stickers, range objects, etc.

Important information:

  • Crosscrowns can be purchased from the Official Gaijin Store (PC) or the Official PlayStation Store (PS4 and PS5).
  • Premium subscriptions are now purchased in the game for crosscrowns.
  • In-game coins are now purchased in the game for crosscrowns.
  • PLEASE NOTE: trading on the in-game market still goes on using the in-game coins.

  • The number of places where a player’s car could potentially get stuck in the environment objects has been reduced. Environmental objects have been improved on the following maps:
    • “Chemical plant”;

Optimal range reduced by 20%.

Developer comment: Shotgun “Spitfire” had an excessive effective range of fire, which limited the ability to counteract it by breaking the distance.

Machine gun “Sinus-0”

Minimum spread in motion increased by 66%.

Developer comment: “Sinus-0” was too efficient on maneuverable armoured vehicles, in particular on the vehicles with hovers.

Small caliber cannon “Median”

The physical size of the projectile has been reduced by 75%.

Developer comment: Thanks to this change, the weapon’s projectile will be more likely to hit parts deep in the target’s structure, with less probability of “catching” protruding parts.

Epic parts

Plasma gun “Quasar”

Now the size of the flying lightning ball increases with time.

Developer comment: This change is intended to increase the chances of hitting the target when shooting at long range. In turn, this will simplify the use of the weapon’s perk.

Minelayer “Kapkan”

Mine durability reduced by 25%.

Developer comment: Thanks to this change, it will be easier to get free of the activated “Kapkan” mine or destroy it in advance.

Crossbow “Phoenix”

Projectile speed increased by 35%.

Developer comment: Now “Phoenix” will become easier to use at medium or long range.

Shotgun “Thunderbolt”

  • Now to increase the weapon’s damage, you need to drive 30 m, instead of 40.
  • Now the perk increases the damage by 33%, instead of 25%.
  • Now the perk’s effect stacks up to 3 times instead of 4.
  • Damage reduced by 8%.

Developer comment: “Thunderbolt” shotgun’s damage was too high for its PS level. The enhancement of its perk is intended to encourage players who actively maneuver around the target.

Drone “Yaoguai”

Time before the drone starts attacking is reduced by 50%.

Developer comment: This change will simplify the use of the drone in battle.

Grenade launcher “Thresher”

  • Ammunition increased by 53%  (115 pcs. instead of 75).
  • Projectile speed increased by 13%.

Developer comment: Increasing the base ammunition will reduce the dependence of an armoured vehicle with “Thresher” on ammo modules, increasing its chances of survival. Projectile flight speed is increased to simplify the game at mid-range, using the weapon’s perk.

Crossbow “Spike-1”

The physical size of the projectile has been reduced by 75%.

Developer comment: Thanks to this change, the weapon’s projectile will be more likely to hit parts deep in the target’s structure, with less probability of “catching” protruding parts.

Cabin “Omnibox”

  • Reduced the effect of mass on the acceleration of the car.
  • The power bonus from the perk is reduced from 50% to 20%.
  • Now the mode switching time is 1.25 seconds (instead of 1.75 seconds).

Developer comment: The changes are intended to reduce the effectiveness of super maneuverable armoured vehicles with an “Omnibox” cabin. Switching time between its modes is reduced to allow players to respond to changes in the combat situation with greater convenience.

Cabin “Ghost”

Bonus damage from the perk increased from 1.5% to 2.5%.

Developer comment: As you know, we are currently reworking the visual model of the “Ghost” to make the cabin more convenient for use. Meanwhile, while this reworking is in progress, we are enhancing the cabin’s perk.

Cabin “Aggressor”

Now the charge accumulates for every 25 meters passed (instead of 30).

Developer comment: The enhancement of the cabin’s perk is designed to simplify its use in combat.

Defence module “Argus”

Now the module’s cooldown is 14 sec. (instead of 17 sec. before).

Developer comment: The change is intended to increase the efficiency and popularity of the module.

Rolling-based movement part “Omni”

Now the penalty to the movement part’s power is 12% (instead of 16% earlier).

Developer comment: This change will increase the mobility of armoured vehicles with this movement part.

Auger “Meat Grinder”

  • Now the penalty to the movement part’s power is 28% (instead of 35% before).
  • Improved surface grip.

Developer comment: This change will increase the mobility of armoured vehicles with this movement part.

Hover “Icarus VII”

PS increased from 420 to 480.

Developer comment: “Icarus Vll” is too effective at relatively low levels of PS, and this change is intended to fix this.

Legendary parts

Crossbow “Toadfish”

The physical size of the projectile has been reduced by 75%.

Developer comment: Thanks to this change, the weapon’s projectile will be more likely to hit parts deep in the target’s structure, with less probability of “catching” protruding parts.

Plasma gun “Pulsar”

The blast radius from the perk now increases by 0.28 m (instead of 0.25 m earlier).

Developer comment: The enhancement of this perk is intended to encourage players who skillfully use it.

Grenade launcher “Retcher”

  • The pulse from blast radius is reduced by 20%.
  • Damage reduced by 10%.
  • Now the bonus from the perk is 230% (instead of 200% earlier).

Developer comment: The reduction of damage and impulse from the projectile explosion is intended to reduce the effectiveness of firing from the “Retcher” at close range. The damage remained the same when firing at a distance of 30-40 meters.

Cabin “Machinist”

  • Now for every 1000 pts. of durability, the durability of the weapon mounted on the cabin increases by 8% (instead of 5% earlier).
  • The maximum bonus is now 25% (instead of 20% earlier).

Developer comment: With this change, we want to increase the efficiency of the cabin.

Relic parts

Pulse accelerator “Scorpion”

The physical size of the projectile has been reduced by 75%.

Developer comment: Thanks to this change, the weapon’s projectile will be more likely to hit parts deep in the target’s structure, with less probability of “catching” protruding parts.

  • Now, if you have a list of saved blueprints open, you can toggle the binding of weapons to the keys, and it will instantly be saved for the blueprint that you are currently viewing. For faction blueprints and bundles, the binding of weapons to the keys is not saved.
  • Now you can switch to tracking points earned, parts destroyed, and the progress of the related seasonal challenges right in battle, on the map and player lists screen.

  • Added a new music track for the garage.

  • Improved sounds for a number of destructible objects.
  • Improved settings of the gameplay voiceover.
  • Fixed a bug with high reverb levels on a number of maps.
