May Marathon
May is coming. Life in the Wasteland is proceeding as usual: fierce battles with raiders under the scorching sun for the right to have rare and valuable resources, and noisy evening bar gatherings where you can shoot a couple of jokes with friends with a cup of ‘Fire Blood’, smash a chair or two over some impudent fellow's head and reminisce about heroes. Yes, the same friends we talked to yesterday so well, who today have fallen on the battlefields, sacrificing themselves and ensuring a quiet life for everyone around them... What drives the Survivors? What serves them an example in the heat of battles? The answer is simple: history. Yes, there are still memories of those times immemorial, when the world still blooming and full of life rallied in the face of a terrible enemy. Many regret that the details of those years have long been lost: legends are passed from mouth to mouth and on pathetic rags of miraculously surviving or rewritten books. But even this is still better than betraying the memory of the heroic deeds of distant relatives. Many, inspired by the work of local poets and storytellers, superstitiously equip their cars in the manner of those most victorious monsters, believing that this will bring them victory.
Well, let's show this cruel and unforgiving world that memory and faith in the best are alive!
We offer you three tests to determine which Survivor is not stranger to the spirit of competition, and who is ready to support the festive mood by showing their creative abilities. Every Survivor is free to participate in all competitions at once, this is even welcomed, but you can also concentrate on only one of them. And may you not run out of ‘Fire Blood’ in the creative process!
Victory Crafts
To participate in the contest you need to:
- Build your own vehicle, the appearance of which would resonate with real military equipment of the mid-twentieth century. Do not build a T-34, a Tiger or other vehicles that can easily be found at the exhibition. Try to surprise us.
- Upload your creation to the exhibition, adding the tag ‘VictoryDay’ to the title.
- You can create a collective multi-component craft (in this case you need to indicate each part's number in the name of each part. For example: ‘Tank1 VictoryDay’). Each participant of the winning collective will receive a prize.
- Wait, hope, and believe in victory :)
Prizes: 3 packs ‘Born to Fly’ for the authors of the three most interesting works, one for each winner. In case of a collective victory, each member of the group gets a pack.
Report from the vast Wastelands
To participate in the contest you need to:
- Film a small video (within 1 minute) with a story that happens in the world of Crossout.This can be an in-game video or a video shot in real life. Cosplay is welcome ;)
- Upload the video to any appropriate hosting site: Youtube, Coub, etc.
- Place a link to the video in the comments to the special thread, indicating the title of the contest in the subject. ATTENTION: the link must be open for viewing, links with private access will not be considered!
- Wait, hope and believe :)
Prizes: 3 packs ‘Born to Fly’ for the authors of the three most interesting works, one for each winner. The prize is given directly to the participant who posted the video.
Artists of the Wasteland
To participate in the contest you need:
- Create an art about Crossout.
- You can use graphic editors, and your own hands and pencils (pens, paints, etc.).
- Place a photo of the art in the comments to the special thread, indicating the title of the contest in the subject.
- Wait, hope and believe :)
Prizes: 3 packs ‘Born to Fly’, one for each winner. The prize is given directly to the participant who published the art.
Requirements for all works:
- Each participant can only present one entry in each competition. If a participant presents several entries, the jury only judges the final one. And yes, you can participate in all three competitions ;)
- The entry should not contain offensive and Nazi symbols, references to prohibited groups and societies, as well as elements of erotic content;
- The entry must not contradict the Rules of the Game and the Russian Federation's legislation.
- Players who publish someone else's work will be excluded from participation;
- Entries are accepted until May 11 inclusive. Entries published later will not be considered;
- By participating in the contest you give your permission to use your works at our discretion;
- The work must be done directly for one of the above contests.
