New Faction: Founders

Who hasn't heard of the Engineers? Close-knit idealists willing to come to the rescue, give literally everyone a chance at survival. But are their motives that pure?

Those who are not afraid of the truth know that in the past the Engineers inspired fear in everyone around. And once their power grew so much that it began to frighten people. Together, other factions overthrew this dictatorship. Mentor, former Leader of the Engineers, officially retired. His position was taken by Ivy, who directed the remnants of the faction along the path of redemption. But not everyone agreed to lay down their arms. There were also those who did not want to play by the rules of others. Soon they will return to the Valley again. Their name is the Founders.

Radar “Verifier”

In passive mode, it detects enemies in invisibility and marks them on the minimap. At the press of the button, a detector is released into the air, which follows the armoured car. After 3 seconds, all enemies within a radius of 200 m from the radar become visible to its owner.

The progression and receipt of faction part blueprints occur within the framework of the in-game event “Return of the Founders”.

Attention! The event will last until April 23!

  • There are 75 levels in the event. Raising the level of the event can unlock new rewards.
  • A further increase in levels (76 and above) does not bring rewards.
  • All players without exception (both with and without a paid Battle Pass) can unlock:
    • Structural parts of the new faction.
    • Recipes for the production of guns/chassis/cabins/hardware of the new faction.
    • New portraits.
    • Several stickers and a logo for the banner that displays your current level in the event.
  • Players who have acquired a Battle Pass may receive the following additional rewards:
    • Crafted parts. Please note that such parts are already issued with certain upgrades and cannot be sold/bought on the market. 
    • In-game coins.
    • Cosmetic items: paints, stickers, decor, backgrounds for personalizing the banner, CK, holograms.
  • Rewards marked with a lock icon are only available in the Battle Pass.
  • When the event ends, the player will have access to all recipes and structural parts that he managed to unlock.
    • All locked parts (except for structural parts) can be purchased on the in-game market from other players.
    • When the event ends, all locked part recipes will be unavailable.
  • Structural parts can be unlocked sometime after the event. The unlock method will be announced later.

Event Level Up

  • You can increase your level in the event by completing special daily and weekly challenges.
    • At the end of the day, all outstanding daily challenges are reset and replaced with new ones.
    • At the end of the week, all outstanding weekly challenges are carried over to the next week and added to the list of new challenges.
  • Weekly challenges are divided into “easy” and “hard” groups.
  • Please note that it is realistic to get the maximum level by completing only daily and “easy” weekly challenges. Completing “hard” weekly challenges will help you increase your level even faster.
  • Try not to miss challenges to open all available rewards as soon as possible.
  • When the event level is increased, the reward is issued automatically.
  • Special challenges do not replace regular daily and weekly challenges. You can still finish them and save resources.

“Battle Pass” (Deluxe edition) pack

  • Upon purchasing this pack, the player gains 15 levels to his current progress in the event. All rewards included in these 15 levels are automatically unlocked.
  • Provides access to additional rewards: crafted and upgraded parts, decor, paint, backgrounds for personalizing the banner, CK and coins.
  • The pack can be purchased only once.

  • Some of the “rare” parts of advanced fractions (Lunatics, Nomads, Scavengers) are transferred to a “special” rarity with an increase in their efficiency. All the “rare” details of the elite factions (“Steppenwolfs”, “Firestarters”, “Dawn's children”) are transferred to the “special” rarity.

  • Damage increased by 4%.
  • PS increased from 450 to 615.

Shotgun “Junkbow”

  • Damage increased by 6%.

  • Durability increased from 182 to 235 pts.

Plasma emitter “Synthesis”

Explosive “Boom”

  • Damage increased by 11%.

Pilgrim

  • Medium cabin.
  • Power reduced by 7%.
  • PS increased from 750 to 1100.
  • The amount of energy increased from 10 to 11 units.
  • Tonnage increased from 4000 to 4300 kg.
  • Durability reduced from 320 to 310 pts.
  • Mass reduced from 1800 to 1700 kg.

Jawbreaker

  • Heavy cabin.
  • PS increased from 750 to 1100.
  • Tonnage increased from 5000 to 6500 kg.
  • Weight limit increased from 13000 to 17500 kg.
  • Durability increased from 395 to 410 pts.
  • Weight increased from 2650 to 3000 kg.

 

  • In addition to the above parts, rarity has also changed for some hardware, chassis, decor, CK, paints and stickers. The updated parameters of these items can be found in the game.
  • The items that have changed rarity are updated in containers from which they can be obtained.
  • With the addition of a new rarity, new trials, patches and medals appeared in the game.
  • With the advent of “special” rarity, the parameters of epic parts were updated. You can see all the new parameters in the game.

Part upgrade rework

  • Now all part upgrades are divided into groups
  • The player receives one bonus from each group in the upgrade list.
    • If a part has 1 bonus group, then it can have only 1 upgrade.
    • If a part has 2 bonus groups, then it can have only 2 upgrades.
    • If a part has 3 bonus groups, then it can have only 3 upgrades.
  • Part upgrade still requires 2 of the same parts as consumables, and bonuses are still randomly determined.
  • Please note that upgrades to the maximum and optimal firing range, as well as to the dispersion of guns when stopped and in motion, are issued together and are considered one upgrade.
  • When you upgrade the part again, you can either accept the new set of bonuses or keep the old one. Parts spent on upgrades will not be returned in any case.

If you already had upgraded parts before the update, they will change as follows:

  • If the old bonus is included in the new upgrade system, then it has been preserved, and additional random bonuses from other groups have been added to it. The number of additional bonuses depends on the number of upgrade groups for each part.
  • ATTENTION: if you had multiple same upgraded parts (with the same bonus), then, after the update, they will receive the same additional perks.
  • If the old bonus is not included in the new upgrade system, then all new bonuses are randomly selected (the item is upgraded for free again).

Here is an example. Suppose you have a “GL-55 Impulse” with an upgrade providing increased explosion damage. Then:

  • Your “Impulse” has a bonus to explosive damage. If the bonus size has been changed in the new system, then your part will also change it.
  • Two more random bonuses from the two remaining groups will be added to this bonus.

If your Impulse had an upgrade, for example, to reduce recoil (which we removed), then the grenade launcher will be automatically and free of charge upgraded and will receive three new random bonuses.

A complete list of possible upgrades for each part can be found in the game.

Crafting parts

  • [Player suggestion] Chassis on faction workbenches are now crafted 2 at a time. Exceptions are: “Small wheel” (standard and ST), “Medium wheel” (standard and ST), “Armoured track”, hover “Icarus VII”, auger “Meat grinder”, mechanical legs “ML 200” and “Bigram”.
  • Recipes for crafting “common”, “rare” and “epic” rarities are improved:
    • Reduced the number of parts required to craft “rare” and “epic” parts.
    • Changed the amount and set of resources required for the production of parts up to legendary rarity

You can familiarize yourself with all the changes to the recipes in the game.

Radars

  • Radars no longer absorb damage from the explosion of the projectile that hit them.
  • When hit, the projectile deals certain damage to the radar flies through it, and the explosion and damage from the explosion pass through the parts closest to this radar, following the path of the projectile.
  • The projectile's explosion occurs either after contact with a structural part, or, if there are no structural parts in the projectile's flight path, at the last radar in the projectile's path.
  • Weapon perks still work upon contact with radars. So the fact of hitting the armoured vehicle counts (when, for example, only the radar is in the path of the projectile's flight, and there are no other parts behind it).
  • Exploding projectiles of the crossbow “Phoenix” still attach to the radar, if they hit it. And the same radar is the epicentre of the explosion.

Other

[Player suggestion] Added normal and lightweight frames: 1x4, 1x6, 1x8. The frames can be obtained by increasing your level of reputation with the “Engineers” and “Lunatics”.

“Aegis Prime” Protective Field

Now, with several Aegis Prime shields installed, the duration of the shield is reduced by 30% for every other shield that is currently being recharged. For instance:

  • You have 3 “Aegis Prime” installed and all three are ready for activation.
  • The first activated shield will last 4 seconds and after that will begin to recharge.
  • If you activate the next shield while the first one is recharging, then its duration will be reduced by 30%.
  • If you activate the third shield while the first two are recharging, then its duration will be reduced by 60%.

“Icarus IV” and “Icarus VII” hovers

Flight altitude reduced by 14%.

“Porcupine” minelayer

Increased barrel durability.

Developer comment: Previously, the “Spark”, in combination with some cabins, allowed the enemy car to be destroyed with its own weapons. We agree with the players that the emitter should not easily destroy the “Porcupine” barrels at the time of their launch. Now such a counter-play will be possible only in a few combinations, including upgraded cabins and upgraded Spark.

“Blight” cabin

Now the cabin’s perk:

  • Increases fire damage by 40% (instead of 50%).
  • Lasts for 8 s. (instead of 10 s.)

Hardened track

  • The mass is decreased from 600 to 500
  • Power penalty has been decreased from 25 to 22,5%

New PvP map “Ashen ring”

 

From the very beginning of our history, one thing has become clear. Science and man cannot coexist: one, having faced the other, will inevitably destroy it. Just like two particles in a collider.

And even after the disaster, there were those who did not stop trying to unravel all the secrets of the universe. Dawn's children are one of them. They believe that they can save civilization. But you cannot return what has already perished. If we do not stop in time, we will lose those miserable particles of life that they are struggling to grow in the cracked and dusty Wasteland, which has become a new home for Man.

And now tens of thousands of reasons why the end never justifies the means are falling from the skies. This ash covers the lifeless soil around the scientific complex with a hot blanket. This ash envelops armoured vehicles and their owners, who decided to test their luck. Just wanderers, who desired something more. This ashes serves as a reminder that the most valuable things can easily be lost twice.

The map is available in missions with the scenario “Encounter” and the brawl “Big Black Scorpions”.

General

For some maps, alternative lighting/weather options are implemented (the choice of conditions is random):

  • “Control-17” station
  • “Naukograd”
  • “Nameless tower”
  • “Powerplant”
  • “Broken Arrow”
  • “Ashen ring”

[Player suggestion] Clan battles

  • Now, if two (or more) clans have the same score, and it is necessary to decide their position in the table and who receives ore at the end of the season, priority is given to the clan that scored this number of points before the rest.
  • Now every league that awards uranium ore for victory has its own limit on the amount of ore that can be earned per season:
    • Bronze: 75 units.
    • Silver: 90 units.
    • Gold: 100 units.
  • Diamond: 100 units.
  • The mechanics of “safe leagues” return:
    • Now, clans located in leagues below Diamond will not be able to drop to the league below the one in which they are, until the end of the current season.
    • If you lose points in the diamond league, the clan descends to the gold league and can no longer go down this season.
    • If the clan reaches the minimum number of points in the current league (except Diamond), subsequent defeats will not take away rating points.
    • With the start of the next season, all clans will still be transferred to the league below.

Bedlam

Added maps “Naukograd” and “Ashen ring” to the rotation.

Raids

  • The Chemical Plant map has been added to the raid rotation:
    • Data theft

  • The “Crater” map has been added to the rotation of the “Frontier Defence” raid.

[Player suggestion] A button has been added to the spectator screen that allows you to hide additional information about the player being spectated (banner, parts installed on the car).

Updated the appearance of the game login screen and loading screen.

  • Fixed an issue where the automatic weapon “Caucasus” did not lock the target when aiming at several opponents.
  • Fixed a bug where barrels released by “Porcupine” could become invisible.
  • Fixed a bug with raiders getting stuck on the “Wrath of Khan” map in the “Data Theft” raid.
