FAQ

  • 1. What is Crossout?
Crossout is a combination of a session MMO - action and a sandbox building constructor, with a focus on parts production. You can use dozens of parts to create and build unique armoured vehicles or aircraft designs and then use them in tense multiplayer battles.
  • 2. What is my goal in Crossout?
The game’s motto “Craft – Ride – Destroy” shows exactly what players will be doing in the game. The goal is to create a unique combat vehicle using a huge variety of parts, equip it with weapons and then ride it into battles with other players.
  • 3. How many vehicle classes are available in Crossout?
There are three types of vehicles available in the game: fight on a classic armoured vehicle, build a huge leviathan or go into battle on an armoured aircraft. In any case, the design of vehicles will be limited only by your imagination.
  • 4. Is it possible to connect the Crossout account to the ones used in War Thunder and Star Conflict?
Yes, for these games (and not only those) you can use a single account that should be authorized at https://gaijin.net/en
  • 5. What game modes are currently available in Crossout?
The following modes are available: - PvP modes, in which the player can fight both alone and in teams of up to 8 people; - PvE modes for groups of up to 4 people; - “Awakening” mode: a story mode about the beginning of the journey in the world of Crossout; - Also, the player can participate in various brawls, where the game rules can be completely different!
  • 6. Will I be constructing the vehicles myself?
Yes. You can assemble the vehicle from separate parts yourself or use the blueprints from the exhibition. In addition, you can use the special “Auto-assembly” function.
  • 7. Will there be a view from the cabin?
    Not planned at the moment.
  • 8. How is the durability (health level) of a vehicle calculated?
The durability depends on the parts used for construction and the parameters of the cabin.
  • 9. How does the damage system work?
In Crossout we use an advanced damage system, which allows players to destroy any part of an enemy’s vehicle. To kick an enemy out of the battle, you’ll need to destroy the cabin of his vehicle. But even this is not that necessary: shoot off his wheels and weapons and leave him lying on the ground defenceless without any chance of changing the situation. While building a car in Crossout, you need to consider the fact that your vehicle will lose its parts during the battle, so it’s important to cover its vulnerable points with additional armour.
  • 10. After my vehicle is destroyed, will there be a burnt skeleton left on the battlefield?
Yes, once an armored vehicle is destroyed it turns into a burning hulk, which can be used as improvised cover or permanently destroyed.
  • 11. Where can I get new parts?
Parts can be earned when achieving new levels with factions, crafted from simple parts or bought in the game market.
  • 12. Will players be able to trade with each other?
There is an in-game market where players can buy and sell different parts and resources.

Yes, you can build a very massive vehicle. But it will also move very slowly.
