All in all, Crossout is a frantic car combat experience, backed up by a sweet creation mode and some truly neat ideas that can hopefully translate well into the final product. Here’s hoping for the best!
If you think Mad Max crossed with Spore and you will have a good idea of what this game is all about: design and build your own post-apocalyptic murder vehicle, then test it in arena-style combats versus other psychotic mechanics.
The more details that have emerged about this game from Gaijin Entertainment, the more I became interested. Let's head out to the wastelands as we explain why we're looking forward to Crossout.
Crossout is a free-to-play post-apocalyptic MMO action game where you craft your own unique combat vehicles from a wide range of parts and then ride them into combat to destroy your enemies in intense PvP battles.
Combat itself is as fast paced as you would expect, trying out a few of the pre-made vehicles we ended up going for a big 8 wheeler with a few mounted machine guns and grenade launcher; what we lacked in speed we made up for in firepower and as we trundled up at the back of each battle we were able to finish off quite a few of the enemy or put some poor sap who was stranded having lost all his wheels out of his misery
I feel that this game will offer players different strategies which most suit them. The battles are intense and can be very quick. It will be suitable for some quick fun, but also for really intense crafting evaluation to form the most ideal modifications for your unique play style.
You don’t have to be Mad to join Gaijin’s new multiplayer post-apocalypse, but you’ll need to be a bit Cross. The War Thunder studio have recruited the outfit behind off-road racer 1NSANE 2, and together they’ve made a PvP game about destroying enemy rides in your own Interceptor armed with cannons, spikes or circular saws.
Gaijin Entertainment, the Russian developer best known for PC and PS4 free-to-play MMO War Thunder, has revealed its next project. Crossout is another F2P MMO, this time set in a post-apocalyptic world where people do battle in customised death wagons.
