Crossout is the post-apocalyptic MMO Action game in which you can craft your unique battle vehicles from a myriad of interchangeable parts, ride them directly into combat and destroy your enemies in explosive PvP online battles in the air and on the ground.

Survivors! This update will be the last one before the event that you have been waiting for — the beginning of open beta testing! We took into account the opinions of the players, who thought that properties of some weapons did not match the atmosphere of the game. In this regard, we are conducting a large-scale phased improvement of all types of weapons of purple rarity and higher. The purpose of these changes is to make the mechanics of the guns more interesting.

Shotguns
Hammerfall

  • The firing zone is now a horizontally oriented ellipse.
  • Enemy weapon deactivation time on hit is reduced to 1 sec. (Previously 3 sec.).

Miniguns
Reaper

  • Increased damage by 20%.
  • Increased burst length to 60 rounds.
  • Increased recoil.
  • Introduced limited ammunition with 240 projectiles.
  •  Additional feature: every 10th shot pierces up to 2 meters of armor.

Cannons
Mammoth

  • Weight increased to 2632 kg.
  • Increased damage by 25%.
  • Increased durability to 1061 pts.
  • Increased the cooldown between shots.
  • The number of projectiles increased to 10.
  • Reduced barrel turn speed.
  • Additional feature: Direct hit increases the next shot's damage by 20% for 10 seconds.Stacks up to 3 times or until you miss.

Fat Man

  • Increased durability to 692 pts.
  • Increased accuracy by 10%.
  • Removed perk with projectiles returning to the barrel, since it did not match the setting of the game.

Executioner 

  • Increased accuracy when stationary.
  • No longer has area damage.
  • Additional feature: Shoots an armor-piercing projectile that penetrates to a depth of up to three cubes, or until it receives 80 damage, penetrating through layers of armor.Explodes in a conical explosion inside the vehicle, with a low radius of fragmentation.

  • We listened to player requests and added welding points to the lower surface of plow.

Raids

  • Protection
    • The total number of scavenger opponents was reduced for high-difficulty raids.
  • Cargo race
    • The total number of scavenger opponents was reduced for high-difficulty raids.The total number of engineer opponents is increased.
  • Heist
    • The probability of encountering standard opponents — Lunatics was increased for high-difficulty raids.
    • Added mines to a number of maps.
  • Convoy
    • Added mines to a number of maps.

Race

  • Now vehicles that stay at the checkpoint for more than 4 seconds, explode.
  • Changed conditions for getting rewards in Race:
    • The player must pass at least 4 checkpoints.
    • The player must reach the finish line or must remain in the game until it finishes.
    • Players who do not meet the minimum conditions do not receive a reward. In this case the special reward counter does not grow.

Market

We decided to limit the number of resource pack sizes. Now you can only post offers of the following sizes on the market:

  • Scrap: 100 and 1000.
  • Wires: 10 and 100.
  • Electronics: 10 and 100.
  • Fuel: 100 and 1000.
  • Copper: 10 and 100.
  • Coupons: 10 and 100.
  • Uranium ore: 10 and 100.

In light of these changes all lots with resources have been returned to the players.

Interface

  • Map
    • The map is now shown when holding the Tab button.
    • Added the ability to assign a button to  map display when the vehicle is stationary.
    • Now when the map is displayed, movement controls are no longer blocked.
  • Garage
    • Minor improvements to Garage interface.
    • Added a tooltip about seasonal missions.It is displayed if the player does not participate in any season. The tooltip displayed up to level 15 inclusive with Engineers.
  • Store
    • Improved Store Interface.
    • Notifications.
    • Sound now only plays for the first notification in the series.
  • Options
    • Increased accuracy of options sliders.
  • Ladder
    • Improved Ladder interface.
  • Battle
    • Improved battle queue window.
    • Seasonal mission info is now more detailed in the debriefing screen.

Sound

  • Suspension sound improvements for heavy vehicles.
  • Fixed a bug with shell casing sounds.
  • Improved machine gun sounds.
  • Sound balance improvements.
  • Missile launch sound improvements.

Miscellaneous

  • The ‘Remember me’ function on Steam is disabled for the convenience of players who simultaneously have Steam and Gaijin accounts.
  • Improved several maps
  •  Added automatic filling of machines in the group.
    • If one of the members of the group does not have enough fuel, upon pressing the ready button, he is automatically offered to refuel the vehicle.
    • If the refueling is successful, the player automatically receives the status ‘Ready’.
  • MVP
    • Now the nickname of the winning team's best player is highlighted on the statistics screen in debriefing.
    • It is possible for the MVP title to be attributed to the player of the losing team. This is possible if the player has scored at least half the points of the best player of the winning team.
    • The best player of the losing team is highlighted in the player list.

Bug fixes

  • Improved game client stability.
  • Fixed a bug with selecting the recipient of messages in chat.
  • Fixed a false notification signaling a fuel shortage.
  • Improved a number of text strings.
  • Fixed a bug with the car disappearing after a test drive.
  • Fixed a bug with the interface blocking during battle search.
  • Fixed a bug of some numerical value colours in debriefing.
