Survivors! We continue to actively prepare the project for the start of open beta testing. Today's update makes changes to parameters of certain weapon types. All the changes are intended to make battles more gripping and balanced. We have reworked maps, fixes some bugs and unplanned movement paths. Changes have been made to the interface. We carried out additional optimization for FullHD screens and improved the appearance of a number of windows.    

Decor

We're introducing new decor elements — ‘Horns’ that will make your enemies tremble with fear. Each horn has its own unique sound.

  • Legendary horns - ‘Cucaracha’ horn. Ship horn A. Ship horn B. Hell horn
  • Epic horns - Police horn. Train horn. Klaxon. ‘Jester’ horn

A new system to encourage players, regularly visiting the world of Crossout
Introduced a system of rewards that allows any survivor to easily obtain resources, paint and decor of different rarity levels.

  • Killing Time - Reward for 120 minutes spent in the game during the day.
  • Day by day - Reward for 14 hours in the game in a week.
  • Reward for new players - Reward for the first 7 log-ins in the game.
  • All log-ins must be performed on different days.
  • The reward increases every day.

Parts
According to analysis of combat statistics accumulated during the holidays and analysis of proposals laid out by CBT participants on the official project forums, we decided to make the following changes to parameters of certain weapon types.

  • Active modules - Removed the restriction on the number of installed drones and turrets. Turret modules now face a certain direction when mounted. Added "arrow" in the build mode, showing in which direction the turret is installed.
  • Turret - PS increased from 445 to 545 pts. Damage increased by 5%.
  • Missile turret - PS increased from 716 to 876. Energy consumption increased from 3 to 4 pts. Rate of fire increased by 30%. Damage increased by 7%. Missile blast radius reduced to 8 m.
  • Attack drone - PS increased from 540 to 640 pts. Damage increased by 10%
  • Missile drone - PS increased from 680 to 850 pts. Energy consumption increased from 3 to 4 pts. Rate of fire increased by 30%. Damage increased by 20%. Missile blast radius reduced to 8 m.
  • Boosters of all types - Energy consumption has increased from 1 to 2 pts.
  • MM5-4 Vector - Damage reduced by 10%.
  • AC72 Whirlwind - Damage increased by 10%.
  • ‘Reaper’ - Damage increased by 10%.
  • Hammerfall - Damage reduced by 20%.
  • Little Boy 6LB - Damage increased by 10%.
  • ZS-34 Fat Man - Damage increased by 20%.
  • Mammoth - Damage increased by 10%.
  • ‘Pyre’ launcher - Damage increased by 10%.
  • Spike-1 - Energy consumption increased to 4 pts. Damage increased by 30%. Structure increased to 273. PS increased to 835.
  • Modules - You can now install multiple energy consuming modules of the same kind, with the exception of scopes and ‘Chameleon’.
  • Unique weapon characteristics - Harvester weapon now increases damage during continuous contact with the enemy.

We continue to refine and improve the locations in the game. 

  • Old Town - Fixed impassable places. Improved appearance. Bug fixes.
  • Eastern Array - Improved appearance. Updated mini-map for Eastern Array in ‘Escort’ mode.
  • Station ‘Control-17’ - Removed to travel outside map bounds.
  • The Lost Coast - Improved the look of the map. Closed some routes not intended for players.
  • Terminal-45 - Improved surroundings.
  • Dead highway - Removed an invisible wall from the bridge. Removed passages in the unused portion of the map.
  • Rock City - Bug fixes.

Siege

  • Change spawn conditions of AI-controlled vehicles
  • Now the number of enemy vehicles increases depending on the number of destroyed turrets on pumpjacks

Time is added for destruction of each AI vehicle:

  • Easy difficulty. Adds 4 seconds
  • Normal difficulty. Adds 3 seconds
  • 2 seconds added on hard difficulty

Interface
Work continues on improving the game's interface. In this update, significant effort was made to optimize and improve appearance of several windows.

  • General - Optimized interface for FullHD screens and improved appearance of a number of windows. Added tooltips to a series of screens. Added first and last page buttons for Exhibition
  • Combat - Improved behaviour of the floating camera during collisions.
  • Build mode - Double-tapping TAB now returns you to the build mode.
  • Blueprints - Added highlights for missing parts. Highlight is activated when you mouse over the ‘Load’ button
  • Manufacturing - Improved part production time format
  • Settings - Added ‘Reset to default’ button.
  • Drop-down menu - Increased line height.
  • Debriefing - Increased debriefing screen display time.

Mision rewards
According to stats analysis we decided to redistributemission rewards, thus increasing the importance of daily tasks.

  • Increased rewards for daily tasks.
  • Slightly reduced resource rewards for PvP missions.
  • Slightly reduced weekly scrap, wire and electronics acquisition limits.

Miscellaneous 

  • Improved vehicle physics - Reworked car behaviour in water, now it depends on the maximum vehicle speed and mass. The higher the speed, the more the car slows down in bodies of water. Increased friction of overturned cars. Now drones launch perpendicular to the installed module and can not launch if there isn't enough free space
  • Garage - Vehicle construction space is now marked on the Garage floor 
  • Decor element ‘Horn’ - Changed the model. Changed rarity.
  • Part models - Improved ‘Eagle’ model. Improved ‘Executioner 88mm’ model. Improved ‘Spare’ model. Reworked ‘Plank’ appearance.
  • Artificial Intelligence - The truck now signals players who get in its way.
  • Tooltip panel - We added a panel, which displays the buttons and describes them. The panel is displayed on all screens, apart from garage, build mode and game modes.
  • Other - Improved a number of visual and sound effects. Improved a number of texts.
  • Graphics Settings - Removed shadow quality setting.
  • Paint - Turrets and drones are now painted in the colour selected for the module.
  • Clan wars - Now the matchmaking system takes into account the Clan's rating.
  • AI-controlled vehicles - Vehicles under AI control with different weapons now use it at different distances.

Bug fixes
Parts. Avia panel large

  • Changed part size from 8 to 16 blocks. Several characteristics have changed accordingly:
    • Structure was increased to 45 pts.
    • Mass increased to 72 pts.
    • PS increased to 45 pts. 
  • Fixed ‘acceleration’ display operation for a number of cabins. 
  • Fixed game slowdowns when taking screenshots.
  • Improved game client stability.
  • Fixed difficulty opening a chat window with an open weapon settings window.
  • Fixed localization errors.
  • Fixed blueprint display problems in some resolutions.
  • Fixed an error in friends window.
  • Fixed a bug with explosive spears.
  • Fixed a bug with ‘Scorpion’ sights.
